About 505 GET FREE

Built by New Mexico,
for New Mexico.

A confidential, statewide network of care — since 2012.

Our Initiative

505 GET FREE is New Mexico's statewide hotline for human trafficking resources — a bridge between people experiencing trafficking (or at risk) and the local organizations equipped to help.

Established in 2012, the number is designed to be easy to remember, easy to share, and easy to trust: 505-GET-FREE · (505) 438-3733. One text or call to reach a real advocate. A referral to care that fits.

We help people find the shelters, the clinics, the legal aid offices, and the tribal advocates already doing this work across the state.

To ensure that every person in New Mexico affected by human trafficking can access immediate resources, compassionate support, and a pathway to safety — no matter where they are.
— i.

Connect

We link survivors, families, and concerned neighbors to the right local resource — the shelter that has beds tonight, the attorney who handles T-visas, the advocate who speaks their language.

— ii.

Protect

Trauma-informed, survivor-led, confidential by default. No reports made without consent except to prevent imminent harm. The caller's safety is our priority.

— iii.

Educate

We train healthcare workers, teachers, hospitality staff, law enforcement, and tribal liaisons to recognize trafficking and know what to do when they see it.
